Yesterday, an NBC radio program, Yokatoko Saga, introduced Mt. Kagami in Karatsu City and Mt. Kurokami in Arita Town.
Mt. Kagami can be reached near the top by car. On the other hand, Mt. Kurokami is a little more difficult because we have to climb with chains in places.
When counting mountains, In Japanese they put a "za" after the number, such as 1 za and 2 za. The "za" mean that the deities are enshrined. These are thought to be remnants of mountains worships.

昨日NBCラジオの よかとこ佐賀 で唐津市の鏡山、有田町の黒髪山の紹介があった。鏡山は頂上付近まで車で行ける。一方黒髪山はところどころ鎖を握って登るところがあり、難度がやや高い。
山を数える時に日本語では1座、2座の様に数字の後に座をつける。座は、神が鎮座するという意味である。これは山岳信仰の名残りと思われる
